Operation look see!

Hi everyone,

Short notice but at this point looking at heading down to Woolgoolga on Friday the 26th and returning to Brisbane on the 28th of August!

Just realized the we are booked up for dog shows for the whole of September so this will be our only free week end for an explore!

If these details change I will let you know!

So I am just asking if anyone would like to come along to have a quick look around!

Regards Scot

P.s Just got to check accommodation at Lorrikeet!

Unfortunately that's the weekend of the 4WD show at Eastern Creek and as a member of the executive of the Jackaroo Four Wheel Drive Club I'm expected to be there.

Oh well in the next few months we will catch up for sure!

Still time as we are leaving Brisbane Friday night the 26th of August and then we will be traveling to Lismore to pick up a passenger then heading down!

Saturday will be spent looking over some tracks to make sure all is ok!

Regards Scot

Re:

THis sounds like a good idea Scot, you can then tell us if factory tyres will be suitable for us (most of us) to use in this trip, as I really don't feel like swapping my 18" alloys to the 16" wheels and tyres for this trip emoticon

If I could get away with using the factory tyres in this trip it would be awesome. Am sure they will be fine on the sand.

Re:

I did this with my factory 17" tyres so I know it is not that hard a track

This is the type of ground you maybe faced with Image and this is where the track took us last time we were on it

Image

Give some idea but need to check out still ok after not being on them for over 12 months and they do include some minor water crossings! emoticon

Cool. That doesn't look so bad and I reckon the factory tyres will do just fine.

Don't mind getting the Red Bull's shoes wet a bit either LOL emoticon
