Re:

OK, door lights are in, so it's a matter of wiring them up now.

No spare wiring harness to be found and the door trim needed to be cut to fit the light, even though the rear of the door trim clearly has an opening for it, the front of the trim itself doesn't have a blanking plate that can popped-out, it needed cutting for the base of the light to fit. A sharp Stanley knife took care of that and the fit is factory look.

Am gonna leave the wiring of these to be done all in one go with all the electrical modifications am doing to the Red Bull, so they can be all done at the same time emoticon

When connecting to the door switch, I can't remember which wire I connected to.
Try them one at a time to see which one works when the door switch is out.

Tony,

I reckon the door switch for the Series 4 is different than yours, as it only has ONE wire going to it.

II think mine has one wire too, what I meant was which wire from the LED plate I connected to the door switch.
I will have a look today to confirm.

Re:

Yep, definately one wire on mine too.
The screw that holds the switch in place also earths the switch.
I think I reversed polarity with the LED scuff plates so they only turn on when the door is open.
Otherwise if you connect + to+ and - to - they stay on all the time.
