Fuel tank float
Hi guys,
Some of you might remember the dramas that I had with Eddie in Brisbane. Since having a mechanic change the fuel filter, the fuel gauge will only read just over half when the tank is full, and sits on empty with the fuel light on for the last half tank.
I'm thinking that this is a bent arm with the float that i could get in and bend back? Or do i need to take this to nissan and spend even more on this exercise?
I can't find an image of the fuel tank's make up.

Re:
I don't think the fuel float has an arm at all in the Xy.
Instead its electronic, I could be wrong. I will have a look at the ESM to confirm, in a T31 any way.

Re:
Just checked the ESM for a T31
The L/H side appears to have a small arm on the float being a slave float.
The R/H side doesn't have an arm on the float that I can see and seems to be the driver for the electronics.
I always forget how to add pictures from the ESM, sorry
