Re: T31 (Series 3 & 4) Headlights

So ive looked at the Philips Crystal vision 4300k and reading reviews apparently you are better of going for the Philips Crystal Vision ULTRA which is 4500k much whiter and brighter .These globes are not on the Philips website but there is a supplier in Vic that lists them on Gumtree for $99 twin pack. I have found them on Amazon for $38 delivered a very big reduction in price

Just a couple questions

1.Are our Low Beam H11 globes ? Thats on a ST model

2.It has been mentioned that use a local supplier why is that arnt they the same globe in H11 from the US Amazon?

Re:

Yes, H11 globes for the low beam. Buying them locally would ensure you are getting the authentic Phillips bulbs rather than knock-off copies (plenty of them on eBay which are fake) and also ensures that the bulbs you buy are stamped with ADR compliance if they can be used legally on-road, as some of them are stamped with "off road use only". This compliance is not available on these bulbs when purchsed from the US.

P.S. The bulb size is also mentioned in your owner's manual.

I was trying to find-out if the Ultra is a legitimate Phillips bulb or one of those which are only available as knock-off copy.

I ordered 10 T10 LED bulbs for $2.40 on eBay for the 4 parker globes (2 each side), so I guess if they blow, it wasn't an expensive mistake.

Hi Jalal, were these the globes you got?

Admin Edit: eBay link removed.

No Jamie, mine are the 25 SMD LED Bulbs, so type in the search field on eBay "25smd led bulb" and look for the T10 version.
