I know this is a bit late to be thinking about it but I didn't see anything in these pages about lunch on Sat except it is in the Sherwood reserve, is there anywhere we can get something to eat or is it bring something along. emoticon

Hi Jamie,
I'm thinking a take away shop might not be insight of where we might end up for lunch, so we are taking a bit of salad, couple of bread rolls, and a couple of pieces of steak. Will also have the butane gas BBQ with it's grill plate. Cooks two steaks in about 6 to 8 minutes. Your more than welcome to throw some steaks at it should you wish to.

Regards
John

Jamie,

Lunch on Saturday is on the road and will be part of our off-road adventure, so pack a light lunch. I asked my wife to make us cold sandwiches. We gonna have a huge feast on Saturday night anyway, so am sure we're not gonna starve to death LOL emoticon

Re:

Wendy and myself are hitting the bakery Saturday morning to grab our lunch and some brekky as well as we love their sausage rolls!

So Jamie you are free to follow us if you would like as we can get everyone to join us at Woolgoolga and we can head from there to our first stop for a quick morning tea and a chat!

I will be fueling my exy up before we make our accommodation on Friday night so that will be one less chore to do Saturday morning, so make sure all cars are refueled before departure Saturday morning please!

I have warned as many business as I could think of that we might venture to buy something that they may get invaded by us!

Regards Scot

Hi Peter, if you have a UHF, others should be on air.
But Im not sure what channel they will be on.
Maybe they can put something in here about it.

I will have a hand held radio, I think there was mention that we should be on channel 20.

I will also have the X-trail Challenge poster on my back window so I'll be easily spotted if anyone's behind me.

Re:

Yes Guys, we will be using CHANNEL 20 on the UHF

I'm hitting the Newcastle free from Sydney at about 7am, so chances are I will run into some of you along the way, but if you see a lonely Red Bull on the highway, don't be shy to signal me or give me a yell on the UHF radio (if you have one).

The exy is all packed and I can safely say that the T31 is bigger than a T30 in the boot space emoticon

P.S. I am bringing with me 2 spare handheld radios, which I believe will be one for Adam and one for Julie emoticon
