Re: QLD & NSW Meet up late 2011

Hey Guys

We will keep an eye on this trip, at the moment neither the missus or I are working but I am currently looking for a new truck drivers job so not sure what I'll be doing at the time. We could always brink the Triton as a recovery vehicle too if needed (if we go)

Hi Dave & Rox;
There should be enough X-Trails there to recover the Triton,
if it gets stuck.

Come on NSW guys, come out of your hiding and put your name/s on the board. Your exy deserves to smell fresh air once in a while instead of being stuck on Sydney roads LOL emoticon

By the way, I making an excecutive ruling for this outing emoticon

The State that is represented the most by the number of X-Trail owners attending has the right to claim the win and exclusive addition to the Stage Challenge Tally!

This means if only 3 NSW xtrails turn-up and there will be 4 QLDers waiting for us, QLD will claim the win and addition to their overall State tally of 7 X-Trails emoticon emoticon

There will also be forum flags, activities and freebies in this event, so it is the one NOT to be missed for sure!

This planned event has now been posted on our and Nissan's Facebook pages as well.

Show us what you got.

Re:

At this stage I'll nominate myself for as a 'maybe' for a day-trip from Lismore (its only 2 hours) on the 8th October.

Jalal, I think I need an executive ruling... I'm worried about the backlash of being counted as a NSW car for the State Tally Challenge. My regular fellow Xtrailers are from north of the boarder!!! Hence, I think I need to be counted on the QLD side for this one. Ruling please Mr President.

Re: Qld / Nsw Meet up.

Hi Jalal and all,
Is the date, 7th to 9th October and Woolgoolga Caravan Park locked in at this point in time. Just need to know so I can alter work roster if required, and book accommodation. Count us as a starter. PS: It has QLD Plates.
Regards
John

Re:

With 5 members so far voting for the 7-9 of October @ Woolgoolga Caravan Park, I'd it's pretty much set unless we get more members selecting other preferred dates and destinations as outlined earlier.

I reckon it's a safe bet to consider this to be THE date though, so add your name to the list (with your QLD number plates) emoticon

By the way guys (Scot), when do you think we should start booking accommodation and should we let them know that a large group is coming for a better deal?

Re:

I reckon get a least a few more members to sign up and call them to see what they can offer!

I reckon you also should include with the date preference what type of accommodation needed

Eg: Freewill11 In Favour of 7-9/10/2011 @ Woolgoolga Caravan Park (Cabin 2 nights) Qld

I also nominate that we need to lock in a date with in the next few days so people can arrange time off as soon as they can to be a part of this event!

I would also like to extend this offer for anyone from the forum including other states that may wish to join us if they can.

Mark, I am sure us Queenslanders will not hold it against you for where you live and have to be counted emoticon but I am sure I can find a spare set of plates for you emoticon !

So President hope this helps!

Regards Scot
