Dave,

Don't think the Europe trip is to blame here, rather you other local plans. emoticon

Guys:

Can we please limit this thread to confirmations and/or intentions of attendance, rather than the opposite emoticon

Re: QLD & NSW Meet up late 2011

I see where jalaski said that Macksville was the centre of Sydney-Brisbane has any one ever ventured inland say Uralla / Armidale way? Just a thought as accomodation may be easier away from the beaches during busy times.

Re: QLD & NSW Meet up late 2011

Hi Bob,

For those of us with kids, the only way to keep them busy and interested is to include some water activity in this outing. I don't think they would appreciate being stuck with us inland the whole [sign in to see URL] be honest neither would I LOL emoticon

Rose & I may be able to attend if we are able to move an asset before then emoticon , so I'll only be able to place a tentative "maybe" for numbers.
Otherwise, we'd be there in a shot emoticon

Like Dave, we'll keep an eye on this thread to see what transcribes.

Re: QLD & NSW Meet up late 2011

Definitely interested.
Jalal has a point when it comes to keeping the kids [sign in to see URL] also enjoyed the surf at Stanwell Park at our last NSW meet earlier this year. I guess it depends on the weather/water temperature at the time when a meet up can be [sign in to see URL] a bit chilly round September [sign in to see URL] its justme.

Anyway, any place any time. I will keep an eye on this post and hopefully the interest speads in the ensuing days/weeks etc

cheers all

Re:

That is why I suggested Woolgoolga as the caravan park i supplied the link to is close to the beach and from a cabin is only a 5 minute walk to the ocean, Great for kids and parents and coffs is close so you can do the tourist thing with the big banana and such!

Regards Scot

Re:

I actually never been to Coffs before, passed it a couple of time on my way to the Gold Coast and everytime we wanted to stop it was raining, so I decided to continue driving all the way to my destination without stopping LOL emoticon

It'll be a good tourist experience for us to explore Coffs a bit more and finally take photos near that banana emoticon

Re: QLD & NSW Meet up late 2011

I certainly hope they've finished the road-works north of Coffs emoticon

Last time I was down that way (enroute to the airshow), it was sooo frustrating having so many different speed zones ..... 100 ... 60 ... 80 ..... 40 .... 70kmh emoticon

South of Coffs, there are some fantastic beaches and coastline. Scott's Head was one particular area that took my breath away emoticon

Re: QLD & NSW Meet up late 2011

If you are going to keep to a beach area then my sujjestion would be to avoid bigger towns like coffs. Woolgoolga is about as big as needed, years ago i visited Scotts Head lovely small village.

Unfortunatly road works are always happening on the Pacific Highwayemoticon
