Re:

Well after taking the draw system out today so the car can go in on Tuesday, I found the spare wheel well was pushed up and the spare Tyre was a little hard to get out.

Also found that the plastic trim behind the seats where the anchor points are is also broken and looseemoticon

So not sure what they are going to find at all!

Regards Scot

Re: Oh My

After a very long wait the exy was inspected today and they have given the go ahead with repairs but to use second hand parts emoticon

Not happy with this and was wondering on other peoples thoughts on this at all!

At least the rear bash plate will be new emoticon

Re:

Yep Scot, got an email from your smash repairer confirming the order for the rear bash plate and that your exy has been given the go a head. As I said in my other reply, I wouldn't have agreed for them to use 2nd hand parts as this would reduce the value of your vehicle for no fault of your own, so why should wear that type of loss of value?? But, if it's written in your insurance policy that this the way the repair all cars, there isn't much you can do and you should have caught that earlier when taking-up the insurance with this company.

Hi everyone.

News at hand is my exy should be back to me by next Monday and I have sorted that they pent the time searching for second hand parts but were unable to find any!

All new parts are to be flown in from Sydney and I am happy with that!

Re:

who is your insurance with Scott? I would kick up a stink if they wanted to put second hand parts in my car. I can't find anything in my policy saying they do this so they wouldnt want to try. Hopefully no other surprises and it all goes smoothly for you
