Yep Scot, got an email from your smash repairer confirming the order for the rear bash plate and that your exy has been given the go a head. As I said in my other reply, I wouldn't have agreed for them to use 2nd hand parts as this would reduce the value of your vehicle for no fault of your own, so why should wear that type of loss of value?? But, if it's written in your insurance policy that this the way the repair all cars, there isn't much you can do and you should have caught that earlier when taking-up the insurance with this company.

who is your insurance with Scott? I would kick up a stink if they wanted to put second hand parts in my car. I can't find anything in my policy saying they do this so they wouldnt want to try. Hopefully no other surprises and it all goes smoothly for you
