Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)

OK Guys,

It finally happened and the long awaited hyper roof rails have been fitted to the Red Bull and what an awesome result.

In all honesty, I got so used to seeing these hyper roof rails on my exy that the Red Bull just didn't feel complete without them emoticon

I have fitted an upgraded set of Phillips Crystal Vision 4300K bulbs to match the headlights colour and they look fabulous indeed.

While taking photos at my favorite spot in Brighton Le Sands, people started to gather behind while I was taking photos and started asking if this car was being shot for a Nissan Advert and if they be featured in it. hahahahaha emoticon

A couple of nice guys asked me if I can shoot a pic with their house in the background, so here it is emoticon

I would like to thank Cameron (Scot's fitter) who has helped my fitter a LOT and even though the process took over 9 hours to complete, the fitter and his electrician had a lot of confidence knowing that they weren't the first to do it emoticon

It has also been confirmed that the roof lining does NOT need to come off at all as Scot mentioned and all existing metal bracket holding the factory roof rails in stock are still required for fitting the hyper rails. The good thing about this modification is that it is reversible and the hyper rails can be removed at anytime and the original roof rails fitted back with no damage to the roof at all.

Those of you in Sydney who purchase these hyper rails will now have the ability to fit them locally and I have already struck a deal with a body styling company who agreed to fit them on any T31 exy.

I slept without my exy for 2 nights but it was well worth the wait and it has now transformed the look of the Red Bull forever.

OK, who's next? emoticon

Looking great Jalal, I am happy that Cameron was able to help your installer with this and your exy is looking great with the hyper rails in place and these should be made as a accessory from Nissan.

Regards Scot

Stephen,

Did you end-up fitting the cross bars to your hyper rails?
