Admin Edit: comment removed due to political content/sarcasm which is against our forum rules!

There's a rule against sarcasm? I must have missed that one when I read through all the guff.
It pretty much rules out most humour then.

What about satire? Is satire ok ?

Anything that has politics in it is not welcome on our forum. This includes your previous post listing international countries where we have members from. Our forum is an international one, so please be a bit more careful with what you post.

If in doubt...ask.

Re: My other car - pic.

Look I don't want to make trouble, I am just trying to answer a few good natured jibes in a humorous manner. Just a bit of fun. I don't see how listing countries can be a problem - thats not political - and besides do we really need to worry about offending someone in Nigeria, or Kitts and Nevis?

Anyway your forum, your riules - fine with me .
Can you please point me again to the section of the forum rules/guidelines which I have actually missed that can tell me what is and isn;t acceptable in the way of humour ? This will help me comply in future.

Thank You.

That is why we use "emoticons" to express ourselves in the internet world. I can't see you while reading your replies and none of your posts included a single "emoticon" to suggest you were joking...unlike all other replies from other members (myself included) in this thread.

Listing countries is not a problem, joking about them in a manner that is disrespectful and insulting is! And yes, we do need to worry about offending someone in Nigeria, Kitts...etc as we do have members and "customers" from these countries and many more within our forum!

I thought you have already done that when you joined the forum, hence the following statement in your membership application:

Gday admins.
I have read the Australian X-trail forum T&C's and rules, understand them, and agree to abide by them.

If you need to read them again with a bit more attention, click on the button at the top of every forum page that says "FORUM RULES"

There are no rules regarding humour as long as it is not insulting or political. We all love to have a good laugh around here, but we need to consider others at the same time.
