Sorry I didnt get to reply for a couple of days, business problems due to some unlicenced W@#$%^r deciding he would under cut everyone by 25% so they gave him all the work. Never done the work before and at that price he will go broke.
Thanks for the tip on the plastic Tony, I hadnt started to think about the prep/product there, also this paint is painful to use so I am not putting it on anything unremoveable.
Thanks for the comments too Rooboy. The cutting tools are going to strip them down a bit to about 1' wide and if they still are ugly they are going in the bin.
Also one cold morning when it was about 5 degrees in the shed and over 20 in the full sun, when the car moved into the sun a small stone chip in the corner cracked right accross the windscreen. Cheers for the NRMA, just rang them up, contractor rings back in 24hrs, done a day later with no excess. Amazing how clear it is compared to one only a couple of years old
