Yes it's not cheap but given the huge amount of missing sets of traffic lights and roundabouts around where I live, I think I need the update!
Besides, with a novated leased car I can claim the update back anyway.
Actually wish the update had come out a couple of weeks ago before the dollar started crashing.

Yeah, I think am gonna wait before I update mine because the maps I have are taking me everywhere I wanna go without any problems and that includes interstate travel

I currently have the 2010 Q1 maps loaded on my Eclipse and am considering upgrading, but want to know whether the latest version 2013 Q1 has 4WD mapping. The NAVTEQ site doesn't say whether the latest version has 4WD mapping; I could not find an email contact for them and I have sent 2 emails to Eclipse with no response.
Does anyone have the 2013 Q1 Maps loaded on their Eclipse? If so does this version have 4WD mapping?

Have you used the 4WD maps, if so how accurate have you found them?
Considering it's 2013 Q1 I might even wait to see whether there is a newer version later this year or early next. also the dollar might be closer to parity making them a bit cheaper.

I have used the 4WD maps in WA, SA and ACT and where I've gone they have been mostly accurate. There are obviously some tracks that missed the cut but this could be so easily done if someone makes a new track.
In the Brindabella mountains in the ACT where I've used them most recently, the maps are accurate and the system successfully navigated me to the top of Mount Coree, amongst other places since.
I'm going to get the 2013 update and I'll let you know how it goes.
