Re: Congrats to Robbo & Tara

I didnt really know where to stick this, and I didnt want to hijack the big trip thread by posting my apologies there. However we havent been on a Forum trip in QLD for ages, and would have loved to get down for this trip (to finally put faces to names), but considering the Boss and I are expecting Twins in 10 weeks or so (so we will have 4 kids under 3, if all goes well )its unlikely we will make it emoticon

My time is now spent kitting out the Grand Carnival, and extending the house..not enough time in the day, and rapidly running out of it.

Saying that, the kids are currently helping me strip and re-paint the calipers Rocket Red on the Xtrail, so life is pretty good emoticon

Have fun, and hope all this goes well...
looking forward to heaps of picture and Vids of the trip emoticon

You both will have your hands full I am sure with the twins.

It will be a pity that you can not make it down Dave but will wait for anther chance in the future to meet you!

The kids look like they are helping you heapsemoticon

Rocket red sounds a great color with the blue!

Re:

Sorry to hear that you're not able to make it Dave, as am pretty sure Nissan (if they join us) would have spent quite a lot of their camera film snapping away your mods.

You sure you can't get your kids to follow you later in their own "transportation vehicles"? LOL emoticon

P.S. Have you also considered a solo day drive on Saturday?

Mate, I know what side my bread is buttered on emoticon
Tara lets me get away with a lot, so I wont push it by leaving her at home with a 2 and a half year old, a one and a half year old, and 2 x 3 month olds (and a hyper Blue Heeler)

Fun times ahead...will be 4 swings in the shed, as opposed to two.

Love it emoticon

Re: Congrats to Robbo & Tara

Let me be the first (here) to congratulate Tara & Dave on their wonderful news this afternoon.

Rhys Ian (3.7kgs) & Sophie May (2.7kgs) made their arrival today emoticon emoticon

Good on you, Dave! Rose & I are chuffed (again) for you and Tara. Good thing you got those reno's done (might be the quietest place in the house to hide out .... lol). Plus you'll probably be needing the extra rooms for all the visiting relatives.

Let me know if we can be of any assistance.

Re: Congrats to Robbo & Tara

Cheers Steve and Rose for sticking this up, and thanks for all the posts and PMs I found tonight when I got home.

Mum and the two Bubs are doing well, got at least 5 days left in hospital, so its going to be Dad and the 2 older kids (haha.. 2 and a half year old boy, and 14 months old girl) chilling out at home, getting the house ready for the rest.

The Grand Carnival is fully fitted out now with 2 capsules and 2 baby seats, as well as roof mounted DVD, reverse camera plus indash GPS/DVD etc etc. Scored a towbar off ebay yesterday, so will whack that on this weekend, and be safe from marauding car park people. emoticon

The house is finally done to a passable standard, with a few hours to spare...so I can go and hide and watch the footy in comfort. emoticon

Been a very hectic year so far, getting ready....dont think it will stop for another 20 or so.

All good fun but...the kids are awesome
