Those are the pics from Japan. I have been waiting for the retrofit photos for a while to make sure it's all do-able.

I have submitted the proposal to the financial controller aka wife and pending on approval.

Damn Jalal can read my mine - emoticon Hopefully that will be the next purchase.

Tony,

That's not Kim exy, it's a Japanese one and it seems the xtrailers over there started doing this mod already due to the launch of the face-lift T31 there.

EDIT: Wait for the bulk pricing Kim, I might be able to score it cheaper when buying in bulk emoticon

Can do - by the time I receive the approval, you might have the stock locally - emoticon

don't forget to source the wiring harness as well - the current harness won't work with the LED light.

Another night shot of the taillight.

Re: Face-lift for the T31 X-Trail

Hi Guys,

Information from myNissan website about the T31 Series 3 and they are now referring to it.

Your exclusive sneak peak at the soon to be released Series 3 X-TRAIL

We’re excited to share a series upgrade for our very popular compact SUV, Nissan X-TRAIL.
Series 3 X-TRAIL will launch in a couple of short weeks, and we would like to provide a sneak preview of what’s to come for all owners in our myNissan forum. Here is a little bit about what’s changing:

Exterior

The exterior design of the X-TRAIL represents the most obvious changes to the new series. The front grille, headlights and bumper assembly have been completely redesigned, softening the face for a more contemporary finish. At the rear, the vehicle’s distinctive vertical tail and brake lights have been updated to incorporate LED light technology, improving visibility and safety.

Interior and Technology

On all models, you can find your perfect driving position by adjusting both the 6-way driver’s seat and the new telescopic steering column. In the rear, there is improved knee room. All models now have an enhanced multi-function drive computer. Hill Descent Control, which is used with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps to keep your vehicle at a controlled speed whilst driving downhill, to help you maintain complete control. The automatic models now have Advanced Hill Descent Control which gives you the ability to alternate between speeds of 4km/h and 15km/h whilst driving downhill.

Greater fuel economy is ensured with the choice of either the 2.5 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine or 2.0 litre turbo-diesel, both offering all the power you need to get the most out of your adventure.

The petrol ST model now features:
• Bluetooth® handsfree phone system, so you can make those important phone calls safely and legally.
• Added convenience of Audio and Bluetooth steering wheel controls.
• The ability to play your iPod through the vehicle’s stereo system.

The petrol ST-L model now features:
• Newly designed double five-spoke 17” alloy (wider) wheels.
• Wider tyres providing a wider stance when the vehicle is on and off road.

The diesel TS model now features:
• Newly designed double five-spoke 17” alloy (wider) wheels.
• Wider tyres providing a wider stance when the vehicle is on and off road.
• Leather trimmed steering wheel, shift knob and park brake lever.

The enhancements on the top-of-the-line petrol Ti and diesel TL are truly impressive, with:
• Xenon headlights with washers.
• Added convenience of auto headlights and rain sensing wipers.
• Intelligent Key keyless entry system.
• Wider tyres providing a wider stance when the vehicle is on and off road.

The already featured integrated colour display with touch screen on the Ti and TL models puts the following at your fingertips:
• Satellite Navigation with 3D mapping.
• SUNA GPS Traffic UpdatesTM to ensure you know the road ahead.
• Reversing camera for added safety.
• DVD player.

The new series has also brought four new exiting colours; Burning Red, Brilliant Silver, Snow Storm and Tempest Blue. Please note that we have discontinued manual versions of X-TRAIL ST-L and Ti petrol models.

So, whether it be the beach, the snow, or the bush, we hope the Nissan X-TRAIL will help make your journey a memorable one.
