Re: Series II T31 X-Trail

Many factory units have this problem if the do not use a commonly available software package or Australian origin maps. However the solution is in hand and all will be revealed by Friday!

Re: Series II T31 X-Trail

The sat nav that came in the T30 in Europe had the same problem at the start, but Nissan made the maps available later on to owners, problem was the price of these maps which would have cost you almost the same as any aftermarket head-unit which has upgradeable maps LOL emoticon

Re: Series II T31 X-Trail

The T31 optioned GPS unit looks similar to the one on the first page of this thread. The cost to install it was horrendous and the dealer said that it was a case of the maps could not be upgraded, not that it was expensive to do so. He even went to say that if i wanted to option the satnav in he would source a decent widescreen tomtom that has bluetooth.

Are the specs for the 18" rims released? I would not buy this car if they are going down the route of the Murano with city tyres... useless for any half decent off roading..

Re: Series II T31 X-Trail

These are some fine upgrades and I wish I had some of them on my series I T31 (the iPod input and audio steering wheel controls). It is a gadget upgrade, really. I do not like built in screens and I must be the only one in the world!
