Re: Mike's SE from Ontario Canada

Looks very comfortable indeed and the perfect height making it a true arm-rest. Did you keep the hinges from the factory one to still be able to flip it open or does it just sit on top of the centre console box?

Re: Mike's SE from Ontario Canada

I forgot to asked this... when I was putting in the CAI, I could not find what this BLACK "switch" was for... I thought is was for lights in the bonnet but I could not see where the lights was located.

Its the bonnet open switch, doesn't turn a light on, I think its part of the security system (if fitted) but one of the resident experts will know for sure.

Re: Mike's SE from Ontario Canada

That's correct Alan, it's part of the car alarm system if someone tries to open the bonnet when the car is alarmed. We don't have this for the T30 in Australia, but I beleive some T31 models do.

Funny place to put it though, towards the back of the guard. The T31 switch is at the front, just behind the grill on the drivers side.
