Whilst we'll be keeping the X-trail for many years to come (just love this car), I am seriously looking into the purchase of the Isuzu D-Max to replace the Hi-Ace van. Rose & I are wanting to explore more of this great country of ours and will (prematurely emoticon ) joint the ranks of the grey nomads (albeit, temporarily) and drag a van around with us.

The D-Max offers a greater towing capacity than the exy, as well as low range 4WD and low-end diesel torque. Cosmetically the interior isn't much on the fancy/luxurious side, but the Isuzu can handle the rougher side of the road emoticon
