I sent a PM to you hippoxtrail.

That price was from Neppean Motor Group in Penrith if you are interested.

Re: Genuine Nissan Bluetooth Kit

Tony,

I doubt a Nissan dealer will sell it to you for $170.50. This must be an eBay one off price.

Not bad I thought for a brand new genuine unit.
Otherwise Nissan wanted $507.35 plus GST and I can't justify that sort of money for what it is.

The emphisis is on the word 'Otherwise'

Re: Genuine Nissan Bluetooth Kit

Yea right mate. You were responding to Hippo's question about the low price weren't you? If you can't post accurate information that is useful to other members, there is no need to make a cryptic post that is structured in such a way that only you (and I) know what it means.

You might as well respond by PM and be done with it.

Also tried to bluetooth my ipod to it.
It connected but could not get the sound through the car speakers.
There must be a way.

I dont think you will ever get the Bluetooth to connect to an Apple device as designed. Apple use their own version of "Bluetooth" and only partially connects unless you connect to another Apple bluetooth device. I was looking at a GPS DVD and was told the Apple would call but the phone book would not appear

Post formatting fixed.

Re: Genuine Nissan Bluetooth Kit

Yeah I kind of figured that Mike.
It would have been nice to make it work but it really was only purchased for the phone hands free.
Funny thing I noticed yesterday is that it only works through the front drivers speaker, no others, and that the mic picks up other people in the car as well.

Re: Genuine Nissan Bluetooth Kit

Can anyone help with the pinout configuration of the genuine kit? I'm hopeing to adapt a nokia ck-7w to allow it to mute the radio etc. The location of plugs and pinouts should be enough to get me started.

Cheers.
Les
