Everything else has increased in price and this applies to all the spare parts being used by the dealers and this is a direct result of the weaker Australian Dollar. That is a fact.
I'm not taking sides with Nissan and their service pricing policy, but am just saying that a price increase of $34 bucks over the 6 months service interval which is about $5.50 a month is sustainable and reasonable to expect and more so because it is the first (or maybe 2nd) ever price adjustment of the capped service price since its introduction in 2011 I believe.

You can certainly run it past Fair Trading and see what they say.
I have taken a photo with my iPhone of the capped pricing sheet when it was first introduced in December 2010 and it still has the "price is subject to change" clause in it.
