Scareyann's little exy: updated additions

Thought I would post a few pics of my exy as I get it ready for travelling.

Image Image Image Image

One of the first extras I put into the exy was the GPS/Navigator and the second was the UHF

Image

The nice custom bash plate.

More pics to follow as I fit it out with more extras.

EDIT: moving the following to the front as reccomended.

Ok here is a list of what my exy came with, what I have put on it so far and what I plan to put on it in the next few weeks. Oh some of the goodies it came with; were freebies due to the trouble nissan had in getting the driving lights and rear parking sensor kit supplied and installed before delivery it to the dealer. It ended up being delayed by 4 weeks. I got my flight cost diffence paid as well, when I had to change it.

Poached your layout Cooch t31, hope you don't mind.

What I started with is:

2008 T31 TS, 6 speed manual in Flint
. All scuff plates (5) (freebie)
. Rubber mats (front and rear) (freebie)
. Plasitc rear tray (freebie)
. Bonnet protector (freebie)
. Headlight protectors (freebie)
. Tint (standard nissan)
. Nissan tow bar
. Nissan roof rails
. Nissan nudge bar
. Nissan driving lights
. Nissan rear parking sensors

Things I have already done:

. Bash plate, front only (custom made locally)
. Radiator protection ( mesh).
· Front wooly seat covers (seat airbag compatible)
. Garmin Nuvi 3790T navigator/GPS
. Waeco 50L fridge/freezer
. UHF, Uniden 400SX
. 17"mags x6
. Cooper Discoverer ATR 234/60R17 102T tyres x6
. Air compressor, recovery kit and tool kit permernant in the wheel well.
. Second battery and solar panel (not permernant, it is a battery box with inverter attached to the top and if for the fridge at night (or parked) while away)
. Roof cage and bag (proven waterproof)
· 50mm suspension lift (pedders)
Added 26/07/09
· Disabled key-in ignition warning chime
Added: 27/07/09
· Slimline weather shields (set of 4)
. Strut Bar
. Active Carbon Microfilter

Things I might do:

· Keyed towbar lock pin (if I ever take a trailer on tour)

Anyone else got any other good things or ideas to put on it? Seems like I am missing something.

Re: Scareyann's little exy

I didn't, Minecorp in Rocky did it all for me.
Dropped the exy off in the morning and went back just after lunch to collect it all finished.
It looks very nice and functional when you get under there and have a good look at it. The photos of that didn't come out as good as I wanted them too.

New wheels and tyres are getting fitted (tried out) on Sat emoticon

Very nice ride indeed Maryann, I don't think I have seen many Flint T31s on the forum and certainly not modified.

Keep-up the good work and keep at it. emoticon

Re: Scareyann's little exy

CB looks really good in there, thats what i need to do, thanks!

Does the TS have a centre interior light? The TL has smaller lights above the passengers, unless thats the front cabin light i can see.

Its like tetris in the boot with the waeco isnt it?

looks very nice!

Re: Scareyann's little exy

Yeah it can be like Tetris in there.
Actually the order of additions should be, GPS, fridge then UHF.

The interior lights are in the centre front with a light on either side. There is also a second right in the middle of the main cabin area for the back seat people/luggage. And a third right at the back.

I generally put the back seat down behind the driver's seat and park the fridge there, so that I have room again.

Oh, don't be fooled into thinking that the area with the UHF and radio isn't a full din size. As it is; and the edging is just hiding the extra bit. Also getting the antenna cable through the firewall was annoying... very very annoying.

Also the rear seat bottoms will be fully removed for my touring next month. So that I have room behind the passenger side to put the second battery in its box. I didn't go the complete dual battery system as I will not be doing that much~ touring in it.

Re: Scareyann's little exy

One of the guys over here in SA at the last meet had his fridge mounted behind the drivers seat, with that seat folded down or removed.
I would, but, the further the kids are from each other - the better.

I know what you mean about the cable, i ran some big cable from my isolator in the engine bay to the battery charger in the boot, was a PITA.

Your ride is looking good, i like that colour, it looks awesome.

Ohh yeh i had a blonde moment in my last post, the TL has the sun roof, hence the lights set to the side.

Cheers

Re: Scareyann's little exy

I got my new wheels today emoticon

A little bit of road noise but not all that bad. Can't hear anything when I turn the radio on either, lol.

I'll take it for a drive tomorrow to find out how far the speedo is out now. It was 6kms before and should be alot more correct now.

There will be a post soon in the For Sale forum for the alloys that I removed.
