T30 4x4 mode max speeds

Hi All
silly question?
but can any one tell me if there is a maximum speed you can goto in LOCK 4x4 mode with out damaging the system?

also is there a maximum speed for the AUTO mode?
is it possible to go between modes at any speed or is there a set rule some written where i should know about ?

Hello Ray,

Firstly, please read the user manual as all is explained in there.
Secondly, take note it says to only shift into LOCK when stopped.

There is no maximum speed for LOCK or AUTO modes, the system automatically disengages LOCK mode above 40kph and AUTO mode reverts back to 2WD above 80kph.
You can switch between 2WD and AUTO mode at any time, any speed.

The only way you could normally damage the system is to drive in LOCK mode for an extended period of time on bitumen and this is stated clearly in the user manual also.
