Has anyone else found that the DIN size of the facia is too small for a standard double DIN aftermarket stereo? I wasnt too sure if it was just the replacement stereo i had being too big.

Well there is a unit that has been tested to X-trails and Qashqais (Dualis) to many members of the Greek club with no problems having to do with size or other function such as the steering control battons.

Also this unit that is very mush alike http://www.esg1.co.uk/nissan/d760n-2-din-dvdgps-player-nissan-qashqainavara-p-554.html?osCsid=hc2b3om2m64p9is0ivusbba24e4340tr

You can find under the Chinese brand "WITSON".
These are pictures from a member that installed it

I was looking at your pics ( http://imagehosting.gr/show.php/695186_1.jpg.html )and noticed a little button on your dash board with 3 little figures with seatbelts on it , next to your hazard switch.
What is that for?, we don't have that in Australia.

Tony,

This is the rear passengers seat-belt alert system for all 3 passengers at the back and it will alert the front passenger and driver as to which seat belt at the rear hasn't been fastened depending on the number of occupants at the back.

Thanks Jalal
I did refer to the owners handbook after I logged off this morning and that is exactly what it said.
I just got excited when I had seen something different.
Next time I'll do some homework first before my fingers get carried away.

Re: T31 Standard Stereo

First I must say that I haven't the stereo yet. emoticon

These pics are from another member who, ammong 20 others, have bought and install it.

From what I know you just unplug the Clarion and plug in the Witson.

It is a minor mod that has to been done for the Vol+ button, having to do with a small resistor.
This is it.

You have to consider that this is a modification for the European's car version. From what I know it is not necessary to do it for the all versions.
The units that come to Greece have the resistor and the schematic in the box.

I'm planning to buy the Witson about next October emoticon
Until then ...

It's not a problem at all as someone else might've had exactly the same question in mind. I just suspected that what it was as the Hummer has exactly the same botton emoticon

It's not possible Dinko, unless you use an FM transmitter.
