Re: wombeyan caves over nighter.

yes all roads are of easy grade just windy to the caves the road to oberon is even easier you are more then welcome as a newbie as ive only been on one outing myself and this forum is about enjoying your xtrail your way you can drive at your car where you want to no pressure to do anything your unsure of or dont want to do. i have had numerous four wheel drives since i was 18 yrs im now 36 families are welcome and all the people on the yengo trip where welcoming and a great group of differing age and knowledge

i hope this has helped

Hey...the Bump Man is on FIRE You win the recovery gear at Yengo and now you're organising an event. Go for it!!! What a legend emoticon

Unfortunately we won't be able to make this one. We have the next six weekends straight booked up (and not one of them involves getting offroad) emoticon

Todd,

Do you have an idea about the approx. cost of cabins? I might be able to bribe the wife this time if I can get a cabin cause she hates camping....unlike me LOL emoticon

Re: wombeyan caves over nighter.

I may only be able to make the trip on the Saturday and possibly head off back to Sydney that afternoon/evening.
Do you think the timing and/or distance of this trip would make this a viable option for myself and others in a similar boat?
