At which servo do you buy your LPG?

Hi all,

I have had the Eurogas system fitted to my series 2 xtrail thorugh LPG Warehouse.

They recommend to use Mobil for LPG. I have googled and cannot find why Mobil's would be a better choice. The fact though is it is more expensive (in VIC, Shell is currently 37c v/s 52.9 for Mobil).

Have any of you investigated this at all?

Cheers,

Nic.

Re: At which servo do you buy your LPG?

I have had 4 cars on LPG over 17 years and have never noticed a difference between suppliers, unlike petrol/diesel. Dunno why the recomendation, and lpg fitters I know have never specified or formed an opinion either way over time. I am happy to find a servo first go, that has LPG emoticon

I have read at work that BP, Mobil and Caltex are good.

They say stay clear of Shell and cheap LPG.

Far as I could tell it is to do with the mix ratio of the two gasses. Propane/Butane (I think that's the pair)

A local shop in Adelaide sells even better mix at cheaper price. Higher Propane??

I usually go for Mobil or Caltex.
