Re: Weekend camp over at Bribie Island 21/22nd February

HI Jamie,
What are the tide times on Sunday. Cant make it on Saturday as I usually work on Saturday mornings and the kids dont finish their Saturday activites until 1.30pm. We could come up Sunday morning for a run depending on tide times. The Exy would have no troubles driving along at high tide but the creek crossing could be a problem

Regards
Shane

Attendees,

BlackThunda - Jamie (Event Leader)
loafer - Stephen & Rose
DaveyJay - Dave, Andrew and Kimee
Yummiemummie - Wendy, Rob & Kids
John & Julie (non Xtrail)

I have booked site 61 so if anyone else would like to come along, you will have to jump online and book a site. I have sent everyone an email thanks guys.

It'd be good if you could turn up Dave, even for a day trip. And anyone else for that matter if you're not into camping.

Rob & Wendy, main requirements will be tents, sleep gear, some cook gear and supplies, torch and bug spray/candle/mozzie coil etc. Bring some fishing gear and swimmers, boogie board and bucket and spade. Don't forget huf, camera and sunscreen.

Sounds good for the tide times. Shoud be able to cross the lagoon crossing about 11.am.By the way speaking from experience, make sure you bring plenty of mozzie spray. They are real bad around there and so are the horse flies, there are thousands of them.

Hi Guys,
Just thought I would put this up. Looks like some closures at the moment. Hopefully the rain will hold off and these won’t be a problem any more…

Heres the link. Park alerts at the top tell of any closures.

That's O.K Dave, this is part of the inland road. If it's still closed, we'll enter and leave by the beach access. emoticon

I thought that was probably the case. Shame the inland track is closed though. I've heard it's a pretty good drive throguh there.

Oh well. Looking forward to it. Looks like a fun weekend. Looking forward to putting some face to the names.

Have a good week guys and I'll se you all Saturday morning.
