Re: Water bra

I think for that price, and unless I was planning on a watercrossing every week, a decent Tarp from any Autostockist would be as effective. Any way you go, they are gettin attached over the side mirrors/windscreen wipers/ and anywhere else you can find, and paint damage will probably occur. Might take 5 minutes to put on, but the results are the same for the once a year water crossing.
165 bucks posted is a bit steep for a tarp, rope and hooks
Just my thoughts
Cheers

Re: Water bra

For the sake of engine damage I would be a little more safe minded with a product like this than a two dollar tarp from super cheap.
The price is cheaper than replacing your engine.

But each is to ones own on this.

Re: Water bra

The two dollar tarp from supercheap did its job when I have done the deepest water crossing and protected the engine as it should Scot. The trick however with ensuring no engine damage is done is by following water crossing techniques rather than totally depending on a blanket emoticon

Re: Water bra

Yes you are right.
I posted this for everyone to have a look at and as I stated before each to ones own.

I will possibly purchase one as I am out every weekend on some trail somewhere lol and this would be ideal in my recovery pack.

Regards Scot emoticon
