Rhino roof racks for T31

Hi everyone,

Just looking around at some roof racks for my T31. Was looking at the Rhino site and they have 3 different styles listed (sportz, heavy duty and heavy duty aero), but they all have the same capacity - 70kg.

Is it just a looks thing?

I only need it for carrying a ladder around at this stage.

Also, what do people think of the genuine Nissan roof racks, and does anyone know roughly how much they are? (T31 only please)

Thanks, Byron

Re: Rhino roof racks for T31

I bought the heavy duty aero for my T31 due to them being wider than the sportz model.

Means I can have more stuff on the rack (surfboard and bikes etc) without being cramped for room. I am gong to be purchasing a luggage cage or pod at a later date and kept that in mind with wanting to also take my surfboard away.

Byron
I received two quotes for the standard Nissan roofbars - $256 and $340 - however they were quoted on as part of a lease package.
The bars are quiet at roadspeeds.
I have only used them twice so far for carrying a ladder.
They are set at fixed points on the loadrails - don't know if any aftermarket types would have a variable footprint.

Thanks heaps kenny.

Its good to know that they are quiet.

I think all of the available racks mount at the same fixed points.

I guess if the Nissan ones are ok and similarly priced I might just get them.
