posticon March 14th & 15th 2009 Mystery tour Q.L.D

Image

The mystery tour now has a date set which will be 14th & 15th March 2009.

The tracks will be easy to Difficult and will be a lot of fun.
***Important disclaimer, please read the event rules before coming on this trip. They can be viewed *
Here

Pick up point number 1: Fernvale (opposite the bakery) emoticon Southsiders 9am for a 9:15 depart.

Pick up point number 2: Moore rest stop ,opposite the cafe on the highway,In front of the toilets. northsiders 10.15, for a 10:15 depart.

UHF Frequency will be Channel 17 and I will pm all who attend with my mobile or if you can not reach me please contact Black Thunda (Jamie) or Jalal and I am sure to get a message.

These times are still in the making but will not alter too much. Will let everyone know when times are set. These two points of pick up are to cater for every one in the Brisbane area.

OK, I have the accommodation rates and they are as follows:-

    * Unpowered site Normal rate $21 / group discount $17
    * Powered site Normal rate $23 / group discount $19.50
    * Ensuite sites (you can put your tent, caravan or camper on these sites & you have your own shower & toilet)
       - Powered site Normal rate $29 / group discount $24
       - Unpowered site Normal rate $27/ group discount $23
    * Cabins Normal rate $57-$62 / group discount $51-$56

(All cabins are fully self contained with the exception of linen and blankets which are available for hire for $8. All cabins include air-conditioning, en suites, cooking facilities and colour TV.)

There are only six cabins in total.

* Mini Cabins are like motel rooms with a double bed, limited cooking facilities (kettle, toaster, microwave, electric fry pan) and are suitable for a single person or a couple. Sorry but no Mini Cabins are left.

* Regular Cabins sleep up to 3 people with a double bed and a single sofa bed. Sorry but no Regular Cabins are left.

* Family Cabins sleep up to 7 people with a double bed, double sofa bed and triple bunks. There is one still available.

Since it is limited on the cabin side it will have to be first in first serve.

The owner of the park said we can park our cars on the concrete slabs as long as they leak no oil.

The rates I have supplied are normal rates and discount rates. The discount rates apply if we get 10 or more to come and the discount is standard and will also include a club recreation room which we can use at no extra cost.

Yes, for all the Kids, the caravan park has a pool as well.

I have negotiated that when bookings are made that no deposit is taken and full amount will be paid in full at time of check in. We must check out by 10.am on the 15th March.

If camping or staying away for the night is not suitable then join us on the Saturday or Sunday for some fun.

I will keep a list of who books a cabin and if for some reason someone can not make it I will go down the list and offer it to the next person.

If you are looking at going please add your name to the growing list or if you have any questions you can pm me.

Regards Scot & Wendy

Put me down for it Scot, February or March is good.

One day or two with a camp over is good too. Or maybe a 2 day trip with a stop over at a B&B somewhere.

Maybe look at somewhere up north (Gympie or bit further north) so Rob (Raw70) can make the trip with us, it's been awhile since I saw him. emoticon

Sounds good to me Jamie, I will look at all possibility's as well that people may want a little more comfort for a overnight stay too If we go for two day.
Might be good for people who want to go let me know the accommodation you prefer so I can work this into the trip for a two day weekend.

February or march sounds great.

Regards Scot

Sounds good to Deb and I. Our only problem is that Febuary is out of the question but we have a week off in March between the 9th and the 16th. If these dates are any good for everyone we would love to tag a long.

Re: 2009 Mystery tour Q.L.D

Camping would be alright with us if it's just Vicky and I but if we have the boys then maybe we can get a cabin so we don't have to carry too much gear.

It will depend on the weekend as to whether we have the boys and won't know that until the date is set. emoticon

Please add Annette and myself to the mystery tour.

As for accommodation, camping, cabin or B&B is good, in no particular order.
