Servicing in Brisbane

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a nissan service center in Brisbane (or any mechanic for that matter) that you've had a good experience with?

Cheers,
dan.

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

We've had good service from Ian Boettcher, Brisbane Rd Ipswich. They seem to do what they say they're going to do and have never bullsheeeted to me - not that we've had trouble either.
I supply my own oil and ask them to leave alone the K&N and they adjust the price accordingly.
We have two cars serviced there.
I'm only getting the major services done there since the Xtrail's out of warranty, due for the 120,000 now. They can do all the messy stuff like the drive train oils, brake fluid and coolant etc.

West point Nissan at Indro is where we get out T31 serviced and I must say their service level has lifted to a very good level.

Great communication as well as customer service. emoticon

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

xxxxxxx are my preferred mechanics.

I have had all my vehicles (both personal and work) serviced by Hondacare and have never had anything but the best experiences. They also offer a free drop-off service within the local area. Whilst they specialise in Hondas, they are proficient in all Japanese makes. Scott personally drives a Pathfinder and what he & his boys don't know about cars, isn't worth fixing emoticon .

My father (who lives in Canberra) would rather drive up to Brisbane to get Scott to complete the major services on his Accord than to entrust the local Canberra mechanics.

Scott is also very familiar with all the local Nissan dealerships and has a great rapport with their service departments and management. Give Scott a call and tell him that I recommended you emoticon

Admin Edit: Non-nissan service business name removed. Please refer to the advertising rules within our forum.

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

Please note that all non-Nissan service advertising/recommendations is to take place by PM or email only.

Should any business wants to offer their services and discounts to members of our forum, they're to approach the admin team directly and an advert will be created for them in the discounts section of our forum, just like many other businesses have done.

Please limit your responces to Nissan service centres only.

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

While you maybe right there steve, I would think that while you are under warranty it would be best for a Nissan service department take care of the car but it comes down to personal choice.

Re: Servicing in Brisbane

I agree with you Scot, especially when it comes down to doing the major service intervals.

Having said that, it's been 50,000kms since I run-out of warranty but I still take it to my Nissan dealer mainly because of their professional approach and the fact that they don't mind me bringing all the parts and oils with me for them to change during the service, so am basically only paying labour.

Re:

I wondered if someone might be able to PM me with some details in regards to a reliable mechanic on the north-side of Brisbane?

My vehicle was purchased a couple of weeks ago and I would like to take it somewhere close to home. Although if someone further away comes highly recommended, I will consider.
