Re:

Just noticed that you bought a (brand new?) bonnet protector, I'm guessing from Nissan? I asked how much these were just a week ago and got a price of $138! Did you pay to have yours fitted? Was that just the purchase price? It's double.. so even installed I'm wide-eyed at the difference. To clarify, mine is exactly the same year and model as yours!

Re:

That was just the purchase price and they are easy to fit and are no hassles at all.

I got mine from the Nissan spare parts center at Coopers Plains QLD just a few doors down from where I work and not from a dealer.

Hope this helps.

Regards Scot.

Re:

I had a very small mishap with my exy this afternoon.

I went to our old place to mow the lawn and I only did 2 passes and I heard the mower flick something out from the base.

Turned towards the exy and low and behold the rock or object hit the front passenger window and has shattered it.

A quick call to my insurance company and since I have the windscreen option the window will be replace at my work premises tomorrow at no expense to me.

Will get some pics for those that are interested.

Regards Scot.

I cringe every time I pass a council mower on the side of the road, just waiting for something to hit the car.
At least it was just the window Scot not the door itself.

Re:

No Jalal but close emoticon.

I hate driving past the council when they mow the foot paths for sure Tony.

No Dramas with the window and since it is electric they told me to let the glue set for around 1 week before opening it and up to 3 - 4 weeks for tinting it.

Not sure about waiting that long as the glare from that window is distracting.

Regards Scot.
