Re:

Thats pretty impressive, thats a massive gain over stock figures. A little too much in my opinion.
Stock motor gives 127kw at 360nm of torque.
I wonder how long the motor would last pushing it that much with an extra 35kw / 100nm.
Thats nearly 25% more power just by adding a chip.
Might even get rid of the DPF issues running those numbers.

Re: chip

Well fitted the chip , there is one thing u cant do is give it a boot full in first or second
just spins up,but when u are doing around the 70kph and jump on the gas its like being on the end of a slingshot, to me it goes like the clappers (for a 2.0 diesel) Iwill wait a week and give it a run on the dyno and see what it comes up with.

Dynoed on a 4x4 dyno in 4x4 auto mode. The diesel made 109 kw and 400nm at the wheels.

That's not very good considering the manual came out with around 127kw from factory.

Hi Ray,

You should have done the dyno in 2WD mode as well. Your power figure is less than the 119KW we got for a T31 diesel with the Hi-Tech system (as seen ]HERE), but your torque is higher and this could be where the Chip is giving you gains.

The factory figure is at the fly-wheel Tony, at the wheels it is only 110KW for the T31 diesel.

Re: T31 Diesel Performance Chip

Jim at Croydon sports suggests u loose approx 30% in 4x4 mode. So that would be close to the avertised HP around 135 kw at the wheels. I know one thing it gets away from the Golf GTI (petrol) when on a rolling start.
