Mm.. Good idea Tony. I will have to ohm out an iPod connector to USB to find audio and power points, dont think audio goes to the USB.
Then source a USB socket. 3.5mm is easier but not as elegant. On Jaycar the only USB socket one I could find was PS0782 .
I will have to do research

Just thought I'd add my 2c.
I have installed a full alpine soundsystem into my X-Trail, including 2 amps and a subwoofer.
I have an iPod connection from my head unit and I dont know how I could stay sane in the car without it!
