When the head units were exchanged, the steering switch 「i」 button was not able to be used.

Do you know the method by which iButton can be used?

please help me.

Dai,

What exactly are you trying to do? Maybe this will help us answer your question.

Do you have the steering mounted control already on your steering that you want to connect to these wires OR you have the wiring harnesses and want to fit the steering control switch?

Also, we need to know what type of head unit you had with the car and what head unit it now has.

Re: Please teach pin assign of connector. (nt31)

Mr. jalalski

sorry.... I cant

The audio head unit is scheduled to be bought in the future.

The pin assign written in the pin assign of service manual and my car under use of
Japan is different.

I want to see the page that has written pin assign and the wiring diagram.

・pin assign?
・wiring diagram?
・wiring color?

Dai,

I can help with the page from the service manual that talks about the pins and wire colours, but the service manual has MANY diagrams that correspond to each head unit.

Example: WITH or WITHOUT navigation, CD stacker, Radio...etc

Each of those have different wiring diagrams and pin identifications, so without me knowing what was the original head unit included in the car when you bought it from the UK, I can't really help you, because it will be too many wiring diagrams to copy across.

The 'i" function in your steering wheel is for navigation I would think.

Here you go Dai,

Print these diagrams and then start comparing the PIN numbers on each harness to the one shown in the diagram and the wire colours as described in the ESM

Sorry, forgot page AV-20. It is up there now.

There is no further information about the pins in the manual.

Thank you.
Very,Very, it is glad. emoticon

The 'i" function in your steering wheel is for distance.

Cruising range → multiplication distance
It changes.

The i button doesn't move when audio head unit is removed.
