(Another concept deleted from Australian X-Trails, just like the 'single press on the key to open only the driver's door - double press to open all doors' Great ideas, but not included in the Oz models.) Having said that, it's probably just as fast to turn on the headlights and hazards and physically check all your lights. Yeah, I know this doesn't check the A/C compressor or cooling fan, but I think we're all smart enough to work it out when these aren't operating. :-) nondisclosed_email@example.com (BPxtrail)Fri, 27 Sep 2013 15:15:56 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2065740,from=rss#post2065740https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2065740,from=rss#post2065740By "nothing remained lit after the test" I mean there are no warning light sflashing in the dash. Had been a while since I had been here. My previous post on the inability to dim the panel rheostat on my T31 highlighted the fact that the folks that import the car into this market are insanely cheap, and get versions that are ridiculously stripped down. That function is not included in our model, said the dealer. Grrr. I wonder if that is the reason why I cant get my T31 to do the self test procedure described here. The bulletin states that if it does not work one should "check door switch system". I have no idea what that means. My door switch system works fine, as far as I can tell. Any insight on what to do here? The "driver door switch" is--I imagine-- the power switch that locks or unlocks all doors? When do you start furiously pressing 20 times? As soon as ingnition is ON? I've done several variations on the theme , with no luck. It doesn't matter, but Im just a geek who loves his car and wants to see it do its thing. Any help? Thanks!
