Re: Supercheap sale on Castrol Edge 5W/30
Rather than starting a new topic i thought i'd mention that today in my local Supercheap Auto store i discovered that Castrol Edge sport 5w-30 doesn't exist with that title any more. It now comes with what is called Castrol Edge Titanium 5w-30 (fully synthetic) and is up in price to $69.00 for 5 litres. It's still has the same gold like coloured container and is labelled as a new product.
Interestingly also labelled as a new product is the Castrol Magnatec in a 5w-30 viscosity in the same coloured dark green as the already existing 10w-30. This new Magnatec is around $54.00 for 5 litres so it's looks like this may be the equivalent to the previous edge we have been using. I didn't get a chance to read up on the containers so i'm not sure if the Magnatec is fully synthetic at this stage, might have a look on the castrol website to confirm.

Re:
The Castrol website lists them both (Sport and Titanium) as available options for our engine and they're both fully synthetic. I don't think Magnetic is.
