Towing Trailer

Bought my trailer on the Sunshine Coast, towed it empty to Armidale NSW, filled it up with household goods, plus wheelbarrow and pushbike. Exxy packed to the brim and luggage pod full. Drove up the New England and Burnett Highways to Rockhampton and on up the Bruce Highway to the Atherton Tableland, taking 3 days, approx 2000km.
Exxy didn't miss a beat and i sometimes forgot the trailer was there and barely noticed the extra weight except on the occasional long uphill. Drove thru extremely heavy rain for a day and a half and the double tarping and extra roping didn't let the tiniest drop in.
Reckon I would have been in auto since the weather was so bad.
Reckon fuel consumption was up a bit, but haven't gotten around to the calculations yet.

Re: Towing Trailer

Hi Julie, so I take it you are not going to be transient for much longer. Got all your belongings, looks like you settling in! emoticon
