posticon Side Steps for the new X-Trail T31

Hi Guys,

Here is the aftermarket range of side steps for the new exy. The supply is currently only available in Europe but I have initiated contact already and will update this thread as more information comes to hand.

Please note that I am currently posting everything I can find for the new exy T31 in terms of accessories to give owners of the new exy a choice when they order their exy from the dealer. They can then see what is being offered to them by the dealer and what is available in the market. This is something most of us (older model exy owners) did NOT have at hand when the exy first came out in 2001, so you guys are lucky to have this information now emoticon

Jalal, in the first pic, there seems to be a bar at the back of the wheel (like a rear bar), any idea what this is by chance?

Yep Jamie,

These are the corner bars as seen in these pics and these are available for the older models too, I just find them a bit flimsy when they sit on angle like that.

Actually, I kinda like the look of the one in the first picture, especially next to the twins. Wouldn't protect much with a direct impact if only bolted to the bumper bar.

I do like the wheels though. Better than the standard ones we got with the older models. Are they the new standard ones or just a pic you found?

No worries Jamie emoticon

As for the wheels and twins, leave this to another "coming" thread where I'll bring more than a smile (aka drool) to you soon LOL emoticon

The pic in the top left of the first post, I wan't those sidebars. Also, does anyone know what size the wheels are on the car in that pic, I have been going throught the massive wheels post and have seen what others have, I know the laws and clearances, have decided that as much as I want 20's I am going to go 18x7.5's.
I could however be persuaded if that car indeed has 20's.

You gonna have to wait a bit until they're imported into Australia. Am working on that as we speak but have no time-frames to give you.

They look like either 17" or 18" to me, there is far too much rubber for them to be 20"

Re: Side Steps for the new X-Trail T31

Csbalkwill,
As Jalal stated I would lean towards the 18" size being in that pic as I have 17" and 20" for my x-trail. It looks as though they fit in between my 17" and Jalal's 19" wheels
