Re: Revhead's Mota

Finished fitting DBA Slotted Rotors and Bendix 4WD pads to all 4 corners last weekend.
I have updated the list in the first post to include a link to the pic.

Have just checked out your CarPC blog, Kev.

Nice work emoticon

How does it sound whilst you are driving? Does the new system drown out unwanted noises (external / internal emoticon )?

Lookin good Kev emoticon The slots and pads make a hell of a difference offroad, minimise heat build up, the discs stay clean and I havent had the brakes fade at all when required.
Love [sign in to see URL] on an auto with minimal engine braking emoticon

Cv get fixed as well?

Re: Revhead's Mota

@ loafer,
Everything is still coming together Stephen.
I've had the amps temporarily connected to an MP3 player and the stock Ti speakers and it sounds great.

@ Robbo0001,
120K service getting done next week Dave and they will let me know about the CV regarding if it needs replacing or just the boot. They said they use a local guy to rebuild driveshafts themselves so I think I will get a new set of front driveshafts at $150 each rather than new boots at $110. They said it would be the same [sign in to see URL] labour each side to change the boots or the whole driveshafts.

Just added Angel Eyes (Audi style) to the list of mods.

Re: Revhead's Mota

Just added the HID upgrade to the main headlights.

AWESOME brilliant white light output, even compared to the +80 Phillips Extreme globes I had before which in themselves were better than the OEM globes.

Re: Revhead's Mota

hey kev,

was looking at your ride and you have done a good job. Interested in how you fit the snorkle, do you have any under the bonnet photo's? i drive on a lot of dirt roads so i thought of getting a snorkle to get it up out of the dirt. is it easy to do?
