They'll be more willing to negotiate the price down now that they've been given the green light by Nissan and they would also be able to throw in many extras for free (I think)

Even more so if the current accessories wont fit the new model! I guess 90% of accessories would be fitted at time of purchase, so when they run out of current model X-Trail stock, they'll be stuck with alot of spare parts they might have trouble moving otherwise. Perhaps the spare parts prices might come down which would be a bonus for anyone with the current model looking at getting accessories (fog lights, nudge bars, roof racks, etc)

I highly doubt that Rich and it was proven to me today when my brother in law called Toyota to get a price for his 1995 Camry distributor, he was quoted $1,200 when the aftermarket one is selling for $365.00 at Repco. The price Toyota are quoting for this spare part which only fits the 1995 model Camry is half the price of the entire engine LOL

Australia is one of the few countries where cars depreciate at a fast rate, yet spare parts remain at their original price (as if the car is still new) emoticon

Nissan will keep spare parts going at the inflated prices but accessories should go cheap as they are not required to keep accessories for the ten year period as they are for spare parts. Or they throw them out
