Missing trunk tool...

Hi,

I have searched for a few hours now and have not been able to find what I need (perhaps because I don´t even know what to search for... I´ve tried many different words and terms).

Basically I would like to know what I´m missing from my trunk (see pic). I have a space for something... don´t know what it is. The dealer is clueless (or pretending to be clueless in order to avoid having to provide "it").

Thanks,
Carlos

Carlos,
It is a sunroof manual crank handle.

This is how it is used.

I would say that it you do not have a sunroof then it was not supplied with the Xtrail.

Hey, I have one of them ' one of those missing that is' I have a sunroof and can't say as how I've ever seen this tool.

Guess I'll be checking that tonight!

May have fallen out one time and that's what is clunking around out the back, thought it was a loose tool somewhere. emoticon

Neither do I, so when I first got the exy and saw this empty slot, I thought Nissan changed their mind about the position of the spare tyre, as the shape of the tool looked very similar to the one used in the Landcruiser to drop the spare tyre down from under the car LOL emoticon

Re: Sunroof tool

You dont need the tool just a straight allen key that fits the head inside the roof......use a drill but set it on light....
