Sydney meet - attempt 2

Guys,

With so many new members and modified cars to drool over, what about we make another attempt to meet-up. Penrith would make an ideal location, enabling everyone easy access, including us 'west of the divide'.

There is also plenty of bitumen to keep your vehicles clean.

Possibly meet at the Tench Reserve boat ramp on the Nepean River, a few ks' south of Penrith. It's actually almost directly under the M4 bridge over the river.

With my car still in the shop, let's make it May/June, giving us plenty of time to work around rosters, family comittments and other necessities.

The more the merrier. Let's make more of an effort this time and prey the weather is in our favour.

MAP

tip. location is where the wording 'see insert 1' is on the map.

It may require a recky by a local.
Is there anyone from Penriff, who is willing to put their hand up.

note: only locals are allowed to use the correct term of 'Penriff'.

I'm in for sure but I hope this event will materialize at the end and we get a good turn-out which will also enable us to do a photo shoot if the spot is good enough for it.

Brett mate, what a sterling idea.
With all the hoo-haa those north and south have been making about THEIR trips, BBQ's and gatherings we here in cockroach territory are LOOOONG overdue.

Let's show everyone what we can do here !

Jalal,
How many would we have if EVERY NSW member turned up ?
Wouldn't that be a pretty picture ?

I think that if we get any turn out from us NSW members we need to take the photo no matter what the area looks like because we all know it's the Exy that makes the photo (That wasn't to over the top was it or to passionate)

Re: Sydney meet - attempt 2

I have just been reminded that I know a member of the rowing club board, who have an excellent picnic reserve on the river, adjacent to the old Great Western Highway bridge. This area will be less crowded, has bbq's and a massive grassed area for the kids (and big kids).

This location is on Bruce Neale Drive, off the GWH, west of the CBD. Aptly named 'WEIR RESERVE'
