Yeah Dave, I test fitted them on the fender and the 22" rims that are 9.5" wide would look awesome. hehehehehe emoticon

Re: *NEW* Fender Flares Kit

Hi Guys,

Another long awaited accessory has been ticked-off from my wish list and this time it is the European style fender flares.

I had them colour-coded in black (for obvious reasons) and they look like a million bucks.

The quality of these flares is truly amazing and they fit perfectly in place, although the installation process takes a while indeed.

The good part about these flares is that the allow the factory mud flaps to be relocated as well and attach to the flares themselves.

Here, have a look and let me know what you think.

They look fantastic Jalal, I like the extra bit on the doors.

How much extra width do the flares give to the wheel arch?

Thanks Cameron. They add 2.8cm extra width from the surface of the fender, but at the same time they do not reduce the size of the wheel arch itself as they attach right on the edge.

Makes the wheels look like they belong on the car Jalal. Nice.

Do they still allow you to remove the front bumper or do you have to remove the front flares first ?

Re: *NEW* Fender Flares Kit

Thanks Kev. They look like a factory fit indeed.

The flares would have to be unclipped for the bumper to come off. There are 4 metal clips and one screw at the bottom, plus the 3 screws for the mud flap that are now being used to secure the fender flare in place.

Re: *NEW* Fender Flares Kit

Hey Jalal, do you know where I can get my hands on the fender flare kit you have? You said you got it off Ebay, was it a store?

Also, is it hard to take the current bump strip off the door for painting? It would be a shame to have one colour coded and the other not.
