Removing ignition surround

Hi all,

Is it just me or is the cover that houses the ignition a bugga to remove?

I dont want to break any clips in the process of fitting my new ignition light so I thought i'd ask you all for some advice.

The new light has been sitting in the kitchen for some time now and I keep forgetting to ask.

Re: Removing ignition surround

Once you take all screws off (either 4 or 5 depending if yours is a series I or II) it is a matter of pulling the bottom cover down.

You should also remove the plastic grey/black ring around the ignition switch if you don't wanna see it fly while you pulling the covers emoticon

Please ask any subsequent questions about the ignition key light in the corresponding thread HERE
