Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
1. Pirelli Scorpion ATR 225/70/16
2. Somewhere around 70/30 - 80/20
3. $260.00 Fitted and balanced
4. No noticeable increase in road noise. Just had a couple of days rain and they seemed to handle pretty good in the wet. Can't report on impact on fuel as only had them 4 days.

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
A. Nexen N3000 245/35/ZR20's
B.100% road tyre directional
C. Cost $940+$55 wheel alignment
D. Very quiet and very responsive all I can tell you is that they were cheaper than the Bridgstone,Dunlop,Goodyear and the like by over $400 and they are very grippy in the wet

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
Recently joined the Coopers Club
A. Tyre size (215/75R15)
B. Cooper ATR (70% Onroad, 30% Offroad)
C. Total cost for 5 tyres, fitted and balanced and alignment was $950.
D. Very happy with the level of grip, both on and offroad. Perform well in the wet aswell. Slightly noisier than toyo's, especially when slowing from 60km/h. seem quiet when on the Hwy. For an all terrain tread pattern handling is excellent. Stronger sidewall means less bodyroll.
Slight increase in OD provides a little more clearance for offroad purposes.
Fuel consumption is up only by about 0.5 litre/100 km. Not much of a difference at all really.

Re: **What Tyres Do You Have?** Reference Poll Thread
Most of my travelling is on bitumen. It was a toss-up between the Bridgestone D683 and the Cooper SLE. I went with the Bridgestone because the local dealer near work really does look after us.
Size - 215/65R16
Tread Type - H/L (highway luxury)
Cost - $215 ea fitted and balanced
The tyres seem slightly noisier than the original Toyo tyres that they replaced. The exy feels good on the road, and I don't have the tyre squealing when I'm turning a little harder than normal. I just spent a week up in the Flinders Ranges, and had no trouble on the various road surfaces. There was no measurable difference in fuel economy.
If I had the choice again, I would probably go for the Cooper SLE's just based on the road noise issue.
