Re: High End audio for the Exy...

Hi Wood or is it Woody I see you call yourself Wood on every post I admire the whole stereo seen and the work that goes into it but as long as it plays wma mp3 thats all I need. I've been looking for twenty inch wheels over the past 4 months all over the net for inspiration and in doing so have come across a lot of X-trail sound systems they seem to go hand in hand so here they are for inspiration and ideas not that you need them from what I've seen so far. Can't wait to see the finished product

Has another thought about installing speakers (splits) in the rear cargo door. The cavity seems deep enough to fit them there.

I always thought shock loads on speakers, such as closing doors very hard (which happens with the rear cargo door) would damage them ?

Re: High End audio for the Exy...

Thought about it breifly but in the end we decided that the rear speakers would be mounted in custom pods as high as possible in the rear pillars. This would mean they would be as high and as wide as possible.

Plus I have other plans for the inside tailgate area when the time comes.
