Thanks Jalal. Gives me an idea. I just may produce my own video when the snow hits up my way.

Re: X-Trail Snow Driving Tips

Our Exy's first trip beyond the suburbs was to the Walhalla area in Victoria's Gippsland area in Sept 2005.

A fantastic and never ending scenic mountainess region with heaps of tracks (some a bit to rough for the exy). We drove up Mount ST Gwinear as it was just starting to snow a little, just dropped the speed but kept momentum going is what we did.
The picture is 3/4 the way up the mountain(pretty cold that day!!).

Driving through a blizzard at around 20KM/H.

Bunch of 4WDs in front on a very icy road the next day. Toyoto Kluger in front had chains and so did the BMW

The RTA Traffic Commander decides which cars need chains or not at the bottom of the mountain. They allowed my xtrail to drive through without chains.

Paul,

There were a couple of very nice pics of your exy included in your post initially when I looked at it this morning, why did you remove them? I was thinking of asking you to submit them for inclusion into the Forum Calendar pics emoticon
