Re: Throttle body spacer
That may be a good idea depending how easy/hard it is to remove and put back. I will investigate this option when I receive it.
It is way too early to discuss any discount arrangement with the manufacturer, not until we test it first. I am not too keen to turn this experience into another Hiclone and there is no money back guarantee with this gadget either (like there was with the Hiclone)

Re: Throttle body spacer
Hi Brett,
While I think the rotation idea is good as it lets me feel it before I get one, I think the dyno tests on yours, Jalal's and Noel's Exys will show the gains enough to get an idea if it will be noticeable and consistant for any modified or stock Exy.
The three we have on test is a good spread of mods ...
- full exhaust and intake
- half exhaust
- full exhaust and partial intake
but like Jalal, I would like to see the results of a stock Exy as well to see if the factory systems have too much restiction for the TBS to work as designed.
This might be one reason to do the rotation to one member Jalal ?

Hey Jalal,
Remember that section of the Service Manual where I pointed out the VIAS ?
Here is a section of the descriptive text ...
quote: When the engine is running at low or medium speed, the power valve is fully closed. Under this condition, the
effective suction port length is equivalent to the total length of the intake manifold collector's suction port
including the intake valve. This long suction port provides increased air intake which results in improved suction
efficiency and higher torque generation.
Maybe the TBS also has the same effect of increasing the suction port length and hence the same results ?

Re: Throttle body spacer
This is quite possible Kev, but whatever the theory behind is, I would love to test it in action and feel the difference.

Re: Throttle body spacer
Hi Guys,
I got 2 Throttle Body Spacers for Noel and myself today. Turned-up in less than a week.
They come with comprehensive fitting instructions (in case you need them Brett).
Will start testing soon and will send one to Noel so he can start his test as well.

Jalal,
Which brand did you end of going with.
I got the US patented one designed by Chaos Engineering.

Don't you dare chicken out of this one mate. You started it and you should be the one testing it with us. otherwise I won't share with you any tips and secrets if you sit back and watch us (Noel and I) do the hard yards
BTW, this gadget will be invisible when fitted (to her anyway) LOL
