Re: Salt Water Protection (and rust removal) Got a trip to Robe (SA) on the cards possibly in September to go beach and dune driving.
Would a wash of the underbody (with fresh water) be sufficient when finished driving to remove salty sand deposits etc? The underneath does not have the spray on rust inhibitor(as too costly from Nissan at time of purchase).

Re: Salt Water Protection (and rust removal) I was advised by my dealer when I enquired about the electronic rust inhibitor that they were not worth it and all he does to his Exy after driving on the beach is put one of the oscillating bar sprinklers underneath the front, middle and back for 5 mins each while on the grass to wash all the sand and salt out.
Mind though, this was a few years ago before water restrictions became so severe
