Re: Rear mat for x-trail

I mentioned in a previous thread that I have one of these rubber mats. It was the first 'thing' I got after buying the X-Trail.

They are excellent, although it would be nice if they were a grey colour rather than black. But for the purpose they serve, ie; to stop THINGS sliding around the back, I couldn't think of anything better.

Re: Rear mat for x-trail

Another idea is to go to Clark Rubber and pick out a mat/rubber that you like and make your own. I've done this with quite a few cars and they look great.

You can even make a flap at the back that unfolds over your back bumper. That way when you are lifting things in and out of the back of the exy it saves scratching the bumper.

Re: Rear mat for x-trail

Hi AussieMINI,

I've got a carpet mat in the back but what I like about these rubber trays is the lip which helps stop dirt and grass from falling down all the little cracks around the washboard, side pockets and back seat.
