Re: Broken Exy
Hi Scott,
So it was the Key and the immobilizer after all, just like the previous member.
Was it the spare key or the main one that stopped responding?

Re: Broken Exy
I had something similar happen 6-8 weeks ago. Car parked in my garage at back of house. Had visitors with a load of luggage late afternoon, so moved my exxy to the front yard.
Midday next day, turned the key and it wouldn't start, tried a few times but concerned about draining the battery, so rang Nissan Road Service.
The local RACQ person came out, hopped in, turned the key and put his foot on the accelerator!! Started after a couple turns.
He said this often can happen with new cars - they get flooded when you only drive them a minimal distance and turn them off. From memory i think i might have lifted my foot off the clutch a bit early so there could have been petrol left over not burned.
